[The pause catches him off guard, and initially he figures he's asked too much. His heart sinks a small bit, but Dick understands that some men are different than others and Bruce like Dick is new to being with men. It's not always easy to embrace that side of wanting someone.

With Dick it's an easy choice. He wants to touch and taste every part of Bruce, even places he hasn't gotten near yet. He figures there will eventually be time for him to find his space, and time for him to know even the most intimate details of Bruce's body-- if not today, then another time when they find one another. Dick has a sinking suspicion that while they might not meet again tomorrow, something will bring them together for another night, another tangle of trepidation while they reacquaint and then fall back into this once more.
