[There's a smile on Dick's lips at Jason's words. There are times when Jason's so full of wonder and awe at the things going on between them that Dick feels older than he is, or maybe it feels more like Jason is younger than he is. It's what he sees in Jason's zeal for life too.

Dick knows it's there because of the way Jason grew up. There was no childhood, and so a part of him turns to innocence in times when he allows himself this brief vulnerability, and Dick falls for Jason harder and cherishes these simple moments even more. ]

You can believe it. I'm the real thing, and I'm not going to vanish in a puff of smoke and you're not going to wake up from a dream.

[He caresses the side of Jason's cheek, and takes a few more soft kisses. Maybe Dick doesn't get it completely, but he doesn't have to really. He only knows that he could sit here for most the night going back and forth talking about how real this is, and how much he truly does feel. This time he kisses the side of Jason's neck a few times. He knows it's sensitive, but he loves it when Jason's lashes flutter close and he sighs. They're soft and easy, and Dick sighs as well completely content with their circumstance.]
