Hearing Tim laugh had Dick dipping his head and feeling... ashamed and a little stupid at his enthusiasm. He must sound like an idiot, he figured. Red flushed his cheeks. Dick nuzzled his face against Tim's shoulder and into the crook of the younger male's neck. He wanted to stay close, but now that he'd acted like an idiot, he wasn't sure if he should. Did he already mess this up with his wonder over how it felt to be this close and to be able to do this to the younger male?

Dick knew that it was probably still wrong of them, even if Tim was of the right age. The same person raised them, and both were raised to be Robin at one time. It made them a family of sorts, and this was a little inwardly twisted, but how could he explain it? The way he felt wasn't easily pushed away. His body still craved this. It wanted Tim; he wanted Tim with a depravity that came from the most bottomless, darkest well and wouldn't be quieted. Licking over his lips, Dick lifted his head.

"Yeah, only women. That... I mean. I'm sorry if I was too ... whatever. " Dick said it softly now, voice deep and warm. "I'm not used to this, but I liked what we did. That's all I was saying. I didn't mean to make you laugh. I didn't know it was funny." He huffed a quiet sigh and laid his head on the pillow. He wanted to reach out and touch more, to know everything about Tim's body, but he was afraid that he'd become overly excited again and want more. He was afraid he'd want it all. No, he knew he wanted it all. Dick wanted to be with Tim ultimately, whatever that looked like for them.
