[that's why dick hadn't mentioned it to jason. it was about doing the work that dick loved, in a place that needed the help. dick figured that he and jason would cross paths soon enough. it all turned out very different, that's all.

supplies from a safe house are what jason gets when he doesn't want to go anywhere else. it's what they both get. if they are eventually going to work together and dick is pretty sure he did mention that. he figured he'd need them too.

it's better this way. moving around, dick glances at jason's back and notices that it's pretty clean. he figures whatever suit jason is wearing took the brunt of the damage. ]

[letting out a sigh, dick has suspicions but he doesn't care. he merely leans over and lays his head on jason's shoulder.]
