( eddie would have walked, or ubered, or rode his bike, but he's getting... a limousine. a limousine that takes him to a private jet. his inner, scrappy, eat-the-rich-centered journalist hates something about the extravagance — he and venom both do. but he's never been so close to opulence, and venom has a thing for doing it up. call it cognitive dissonance on both of their parts.

annie was wealthy in that waspy, nice side of new england sort of way, but not like this. champagne and knowing one dining spoon from another isn't the same as renting [owning???] a private jet for a weekend trip.
