( dick is on a first name basis with his mentor [and possible father figure]. obviously, that'd be the case, but it's strange hearing someone like bruce wayne as anything other than bruce wayne, less than first name, and last name, and full title. it's strange that anyone would call a man so powerful bruce, the same way it's strange that, to some, there's an elon, and a jeff, and a mark. thinking of billionaire as just people is taxing work.

still, he softens by the end of dick's explanation, since it sounds like eddie's being placed in the center of it. this is a special case, eddie is a special person, so they're taking the private jet.

it's not like they're going to turn down the opportunity. they're already here; they've gotta see it.

slowly recovering from being absolutely starstruck, eddie follows behind and indeed takes the seat across from dick. his simple luggage gets passed off to whomever seems keen to take it, and he relaxes into the seat that he's pretty sure cost more than his entire career, leaning his arms against the table before him. )

You really know how to treat a guy. But I should probably warn you that I'm not really, like... into the whole heights thing.

( prior to arriving here, eddie had been more worried about travelling though a normal, regular airport with his current criminal status. now that he sees they're going private, he doesn't need to stress about that, which is good, but it gives him more time to worry about the next thing on his list of anxieties: his acrophobia. )
