[right now, bruce isn't really as much on dick's radar. he's worried about him, but he doesn't need the prying into his life that his mentor/dad likes to do. he's not sure that bruce would be up to it, but in case he doesn't want anything to mess up his life right now.

when jason admits to being red hood, dick doesn't react. he knows this much and only smiles, happy that the truth is finally there. ]

it's okay. you have an identity of your own now, apart from bruce and titans. it's good. you're not the same red hood you were. you're doing things to better the community. i get it.

[with the chili dogs now occupying jason's lap, dick sits to the side and runs his hands along whatever he can reach, needing a little contact still. it's that feeling that he could have lost jason today. they always have that hanging over their heads, but it's still a thing when it almost happens.]
