( like attracts like, doesn't it? even if that like is a personal darkness they both carry within themselves. that's probably why it feels the way it does and why it's so difficult to ignore, let alone resist. they're both fucked up, just in their own ways.

everything that bruce has suppressed floods to the surface at a speed that makes his head almost spin. there's a heaviness there now, one thick with desire and a need he hasn't felt in a long time. dick's words brush over bruce's lips and the older man huffs a laugh, smiling against the other's mouth as he does — as dick goes about undoing the front of his pants. he doesn't kiss him — doesn't let him taste his own desire there on his mouth and, instead, gives a sharp nip to dick's bottom lip as those blue eyes practically pierce through the other man's soul.

because bruce is capable of being like this. intense. in every sense of the word. he just hasn't felt the need to be as of late. until now, that is. like a switch suddenly flicked on.

rather than touch dick, he looks down between them. slow. lifting his head up then to brush the pad of a thumb over the other man's mouth. slow and with a fixation there so intense in his eyes. dick being the fixation in question this time. )
