[A part of Dick didn't expect Bruce to agree to it, but there it was. That simple one word answer that settled them both for the evening. Letting out a soft, barely audible sigh, Dick smiles to himself or the ceiling if it was watching. Calm washes over him because he doesn't have to let go of anything until the morning, and Dick knows that time makes truths easier to face. He's normally practiced in facing life in the darkness, but maybe this time he doesn't have to deal with the shadows, but merely the soft pliant nature of night and how it can wrap around one like a gentle, familiar blanket.

A laugh bubbles up at the notion of breakfast in bed. Dick hasn't had that in ages, and to think of Bruce being the one to serve it to him is absolutely hilarious. He looks over and shakes his head.]

Come on, I thought you were a five star chef. [snort.]

I've got some cereal, of course. You're welcome to hot coffee and toast. I don't usually serve it in bed either, but I might if you really want it. We should probably get a shower before we're too lazy and tired to get up. Good sex takes it right out of me, and that was really great sex, Fuck.

[There's plenty of thinking and unpacking to do, but Dick is letting it go in favor of being casual and letting himself enjoy the buzz that remains running through his limbs and the rest of his body.]

Speaking of food. I'm a little hungry after that. You want me to order anything to have waiting after our shower? Chinese?
