And take everything I have Till there is nothing left Till it's just your voice in my head And when the lights come on You see me as I am You're still inside me You are the only one The only one that sees me That trusts me and believes me You are the only one The only one that knows me And in the dark you show me
It had been a long last day on the island, sleeping in, rolling around doing a lot of nothing but enjoying the little private island that they'd been allowed to stay at. They'd taken a few little trips apart from one another to turn in things they rented, but for the most part Dick was getting things ready for the evening. He was still on the fence about tonight. He still wanted everything in its place and had all the pieces ready. One thing he did know. He was going to spend his life with Jason. There was nothing that could ever convince him otherwise.
He had to make sure that Jason felt the same way as well. It struck him as they had yet another argument that night. It made him want to punch his fist through something, but in the end they made up and hopefully turned things around for better. He really hoped that most of what they communicated through the night before had made a difference. He wanted to be on solid ground no matter what. They had booked the most luxurious and romantic luau for the evening. The food was supposed to be out of this world, and so was the show. Dick was legit overly excited once more, even if his stomach was tied into a million knots.
He tried to breathe naturally, but it wasn't easy. Maybe he shouldn't do it this quickly, was six months too early, even if he didn't want to do this for some time to come. It was merely a promise. The hope of a future, and a way for Dick to tell the world that he wasn't on the market any longer. He was done being an eligible bachelor. He only wanted one man in this world for the rest of his life. Laying back on their bed, Dick was thinking about it all wearing one of the outfits he'd got particularly for the luau as he thought. He only had pants on, and nothing else though. They weren't in a rush... yet.
F. Last Night on the Island. -Luau and maybe more.
And take everything I have
Till there is nothing left
Till it's just your voice in my head
And when the lights come on
You see me as I am
You're still inside me
You are the only one
The only one that sees me
That trusts me and believes me
You are the only one
The only one that knows me
And in the dark you show me
