A pleased little sound left Tim when Dick wrapped him in his arms. He appreciated the warmth he could steal, pressing as close as he could get. "Mm, I saw myself before I left the house, Dick. I know I look like a mess. Now I'm starting to wonder about your taste in men." He grinned, clearly teasing, nuzzling at whatever he could reach. His hair had been brushed earlier in the day, but it was a little wild from the static of removing his hoodie.

The conversation shifted to be more serious and Tim pulled back, wanting to look the older man in the eye as they talked. It would be easier to read his face and get a good idea of what he was feeling that way. The idea of letting himself be so vulnerable about how he felt was uncomfortable, but he knew if the two of them were going to get anywhere, he was going to have to push past it and be open.

"I care a lot about you too." He promised, blue eyes wide and sincere as he spoke. "I just wasn't sure... I mean, I know you've had relationship trouble in the past. I wasn't sure if you'd even want to be with me like that." Pink blossomed on his cheeks. "I'm glad you do, though."
