[ Jason raises his eyebrows a little at that, moving back a little too. ]

Okay.... you sure that's ok? You seem a little put off by it. I'm not really sure which part, though.

Yeah, no. I just really want a place where you feel at home at. I want to make this work for us. I want you to be happy, you know. I love you so much, and I don't want you to have any doubts about anything.

[Feeling a little silly, Dick pulled Jason back into his arms, and nuzzled at the side of his neck, inhaling the moment for what it was. He was excited for the both of them, and knew the art of compromise was important here. He wanted this to be absolutely perfect. He couldn't fuck this up. ]

I don't have any doubts. I'm good with this Dick, I really am. I'm just telling you how life is for me too.

[He moves back into Dick's arms easily, his shoulders relaxing once again.]

I know you try to understand. Even if it's hard sometimes.

Hey, we made it this far and you decided that you want to live with me after all, what more could I ask for?

[He leans in and kisses his boyfriend, lost in the happiness that they don't have to part ways and that they can still have this. It's a relief and Dick is looking forward to apartment hunting for them. He may have wanted to do it all with Jason, but this works too.]

If there's more you wanna ask for you can, you know. I don't want you to be worried about that shit. You can talk to me, ok?

[He just wants to put that out there, cause he knows how it is. He knows how it feels.

He leans in to kiss Dick deeply, moving a hand to slide up to his face. This is what he wants too, more than anything. He knows that now. But he also wants Dick to be alright.]

No, this is really all I want Jason. I want you, and not to lose you. I think that's been my biggest fear all along. You leaving.

[It's weird to realize that it was the truth. They'd both been through so much, and he knows that after his death and after finding Jason, that the scariest thing to him was losing Jason, even if it was only to another apartment. Dick had begun to rely on Jason's body in his bed, and being able to roll over at any time of the night to kiss him.

Dick had begun to count on the sound of Jason's heart under his ear when he needed it. They got hurt, he could handle that. They were very different people at times and Dick knew that too. Yet, more than anything he loved Jason unconditionally, and didn't want to lose him. It did something strange to him. It changed a fundamental part of him somewhere, and he was alright with that now. It took a while to figure out and accept. Dick accepted fear back in his life when he accepted a true love like this.

Running his hand along Jason's back, along his skin, Dick sighs against his boyfriend's mouth and smiles, kissing him with everything that he has inside him. They know one another, they know how to kiss to rob one another of breath. They're good at being together now. Moving in is only a further extension of that. ]

I know that being together like this has changed us both some, but I want you to know that I'm happy about being better for you. I am happy that you are with me, and that I love you. I used to think that my life was about so many other things, but I know now, what I want my future to look like.

Okay. You know I just wanna make sure. I don't want you to get frustrated or... tired of putting up with my shit. That's my biggest fear too, you know? You leaving.

I'm not gonna leave you, though, Dick. I've wanted this for so fucking long.

[He's wanted to be with Dick, he's wanted to be like this with someone. He wants a home, and a person to come back to, and wake up next to. He knows he was hesitant at first, but only because it all felt too good to be true. He was scared of going all in if he was just gonna lose it all in the end.

Jason has only ever left because people wanted him gone. He'd always rather stay.]

Hearing you say that means everything to me. Never thought I'd get to be with you like this. Now, it's all I want, ok? You're everything I want.

[He kisses back, arm sliding around Dick's neck to hold him closer and kiss him deeply once again. He can feel that love from Dick, and he wants the older man to feel it in him too.]

I have plenty of shit to put up with too. I don't want you to get tired of it. I think we both share a lot of the same fears. I'm not going anywhere this time. I've wanted this, you. I've wanted exactly you for so long. You fit every part of me in ways I never realized I needed until now.

[How many times did he try to find the right person to fit him. Dick could never fix himself enough to work it out with any one else. Dying helped, but it's also Jason. In Jason alone he's found the one person who gets him better than anyone else. He found a person to confide in. After opening up a little, and letting himself go, he found that Jason accepted all sides of him.

He even takes the fear that Dick has in stride, because they share it. They both have love so deep. It overwhelms Dick at times to think that Jason loves him as much as he does. He doesn't feel worthy of such a wonderful person or love, but when they're kissing and he feels Jason's arms so tight around him, he knows that there's nowhere else in this world that he'd rather be. He can feel the beat of their hearts, and the love that flows between them.

He whispers the words I love you over and over between their lips, in little tiny kisses and tugs on Jason's lips. ]
