[ Dick did good with this. Real fucking good, cause Jason is feeling that full out joy. This is such an awesome, normal thing for them to do, and it's nice to just do that every once in a while.

Dick had a real good idea.

If you can believe it, he smiles even more when Dick shifts closer, pressing a hand against his back. He laughs when the puppies nip at them, taking up space between the two of them as well. Jason's perfectly happy with that. ]

This is definitely the best fucking date.

[He looks at Dick, smiling a little shyly at the compliment.]

[reaching out and down by his toes that are now spread out long before him, dick offers a display of that flexibility that makes him so unique and he grabs a ball that had rested an inch below where he'd been stretched out.

never once did he need to release the hand from behind jason's back.] sweet on you, you mean.

[he laughs, and his eyes light bright as he watches the young man beside him.]

here toss this and watch them all run for it. Who do you think will win. patches over there, or this one that looks a little like gar if you ask me. all he needs is green fur.

[He leans over to kiss Dick's cheek as a puppy climbs up his chest to try and lick him. That makes him laugh, pulling away to scoop the puppy up.]

Oh, you want kisses too, huh little guy?

[He brings the puppy closer to his face and lets him lick his jaw. When he puts the puppy back down into his lap he takes the ball from Dick.]

Oh man, don't say that. Gonna make me think Gar's secretly one of these little puppies. I think that little black retriever might win.

[He grins, tossing the ball and watching them run for it.]

i see how it is. i get cheek kisses and he gets face kisses. i'm jealous. you hear that puppy. i'm jealous.

[dick laughs, using a softer slightly silly voice for the little puppy as he leans over and kisses the little thing on the top of the head. he snickers, but then silently looks around to make sure that none of the puppies are there with a green stripe.

who knew what powers gar had in the red now. dick sure as fuck hope he wouldn't use them to spy on his date. the thought alone made him laugh and he turned his attention back to the puppies. dick pounded his hands back and forth on the ground as almost all the puppies ran for the ball. the corgi tumbled over its own little short legs and two of them started and then forgot what they were doing half way there. it was a hilarious sight.]

look, look, it's little black guy for the win. leave it to the retriever to retrieve the ball. you're pretty good at this, aren't you. that poodle almost had it though. it was a tough break. i think his hair got in his eyes.
